Mulberry Regent Street, London

Local architect & site supervision services with Ganter Interiors

Flair Studio collaborated with Mulberry and the Ganter Group to deliver the new flagship store in Regent Street, the first to be designed by Faye Toogood.

The irregularity of the site with 3 entrances and 4 shopwindows on Regent Street, combined with the many interactions between the joinery and the shell and the alternation of different high level finishes, adding a tight deadline, have contributed to add challenge to this exciting project. The interiors are inspired by the British landscapes and the  geometric forms of Brutalist architecture buildings, with hand-made wallpapers alternated with concrete surfaces, stuccos, lava stone tiles and suede. The central feature is composed by two circular sheving units in pink ridded glass which intersect in the ceiling with a rounded skilight.

According to Mulberry the design aesthetic is modern with a hint of heritage that allows customers to discover the “tactile universe” of the brand, offering a contemporary environment described by the designer label as being inspired by “painterly qualities of British landscapes and strong but simple geometric forms,” to feel like a “welcoming home”.

Flair Studio’s project management services helped to liaise with the main and subcontractors in order to achieve high level of coordination between the bespoke joinery items, the shell, the decoration works and styling for the Mulberry flagship store in Regent Street.
