New retrofit project for a private estate in West Kensington

We are excited to have been appointed to curate the retrofit project of the Durrels House, an apartment block of 80 flats in West Kensington. The project will also include the design all the common areas, the seating area, the reception desk and the lift lobbies. The project also entails the retro fitting of the single independent heatings by introducing a communal system which will be more efficent in terms of energy (and carbon) consumption and therefore more sustainable. Also the gas will be completely removed from the building. Flair Studio is working on the interior architecture and the coordination of the pool of consultants, the interior remodelling is going to be a traditional contract while the M&E will be a design and build with a specialist contractor.
