Flair Studio was founded in 2019 to create interiors that are both inspiring and personal. With over 20 years’ experience across residential, retail and hospitality, we bring together design skill and practical knowledge to deliver spaces with character and purpose.

We founded Flair Studio in 2019 with the belief that architecture and interiors should be both inspiring and deeply personal. After two decades of experience across residential, retail and hospitality projects, Federico set out to create a practice that could stay small enough to care and flexible enough to do things differently.

What drives us is collaboration. We listen closely, ask questions, and shape spaces together with our clients — turning ideas into tailor-made solutions that reflect their identity and needs. Flair Studio is an architecture and Interior design practice founded by Federico Schilling who is ARB and RIBA chartered in the UK. Federico qualified as architect in Milan in 2001 and worked extensively in Hamburg and Milan, moving to London in 2014 where he worked at David Collins Studio before founding Flair Studio in 2019.
Federico has gained an extensive experience in high-end interior design, in particular within the retail field leading the retail development for brands as Ermenegildo Zegna and Roberto Cavalli on a variety of projects including stores for the main, junior and furniture lines as well as cafes and restaurants, private residences and the designs for a boutique Hotel in Dubai.
Curious and passionate about detail and craftsmanship, over the years he has gained a wide experience in the design and end to end delivery of high-end interiors by leading the architectural design process and coordinating stakeholders, internal and external teams while driving execution and reducing costs for projects at any scale.
Federico is a RIBA mentor at Central Saint Martins.
