We are pleased to share that Flair Studio has been included in the Regenerative Architecture Index (RAI) 2026.

The Regenerative Architecture Index brings together practices that are helping shape the transition towards a more regenerative built environment, recognising projects and approaches that seek to create positive environmental and social outcomes.
Although the term “regenerative design” is relatively new, many of the principles behind it have long informed the way we work. As a small design-led practice, much of our work focuses on the adaptation, refurbishment and sensitive transformation of existing buildings. From listed properties and heritage assets to commercial workplaces and educational settings, we are often asked to uncover potential within buildings that already exist rather than start again.
We believe that extending the life of existing buildings is one of the most effective ways architecture can contribute to a more sustainable future. Retaining embodied carbon, reducing waste, improving performance and creating places that remain useful and adaptable over time are themes that run through many of our projects.
Being included in the RAI is therefore particularly meaningful, as it recognises an approach that sits at the heart of our practice.
As part of the programme, Flair Studio will participate in Regenerative Design 2026 at the Building Centre in London this October, where we will be exhibiting a project case study that explores how regenerative thinking can inform the transformation of existing buildings.

We would like to thank the organisers for the opportunity and look forward to contributing to the wider conversation around the future of architecture, retrofit and adaptive reuse.
