Flair Studio led the full design development, including drawings, visuals, material specification and coordination, before delivering the complete fit-out of Zimmermann’s new boutique at Bicester Village. The result is a refined and timeless retail environment that embodies the brand’s distinctive sophistication and sense of craft.
Located alongside Dior, the 214 m² store introduces a calm, contemporary atmosphere defined by tactile finishes, warm lighting and precise detailing. Working closely with Zimmermann, CD10, Niva and ICM Construction, the project evolved seamlessly from early design definition to on-site completion, ensuring absolute consistency between concept and execution.
The interior palette balances natural textures with a soft tonal harmony. Italian terrazzo flooring establishes a durable and elegant base, while plastered wall finishes in warm neutrals, completed with low-VOC paints, create a serene and healthy environment. Oak and stainless-steel fixtures express both tactility and precision, complemented by linen textiles and artisan kilims that add texture and depth.
Sustainability and wellbeing were at the heart of the concept. The store operates entirely with LED lighting, supported by an energy-optimised HVAC system designed for comfort and efficiency. An automatic sliding entrance door helps maintain stable indoor conditions, while construction waste was closely monitored to reduce environmental impact. All specified materials prioritised responsible sourcing, durability and environmental certification.
This new boutique demonstrates how design integrity, sustainability and collaborative delivery can merge to form a cohesive retail experience—one that quietly amplifies Zimmermann’s brand values through architectural precision and crafted materiality.
