Flair Studio is proud to have collaborated with Studio Tognon and CD10 on the design and delivery of Autry’s first flagship store, located at 61–63 Beak Street in the heart of Soho, London.
The Autry store project marks the beginning of an ambitious retail expansion for the brand, setting the benchmark for future locations. The flagship embodies Autry’s heritage and authenticity through a clean, minimal design language, while subtly weaving in the creative energy, material richness, and historic character that define the Soho streetscape.
As part of the scope, Flair Studio prepared and secured the shopfront planning application, ensuring that the new façade respected the architectural rhythm of Beak Street and remained fully in keeping with the surrounding conservation area. Particular attention was given to proportion, transparency, and detailing to create a contemporary frontage that enhances the retail experience without compromising its context.
Spread across two floors, the store is designed to deliver a refined yet welcoming environment, where the focus remains firmly on the product. High-quality finishes, balanced lighting, and a carefully choreographed sense of openness define the interior architecture, creating an atmosphere that feels both contemporary and timeless. The spatial layout supports an intuitive customer journey, while retaining enough flexibility for future merchandising needs.
Flair Studio’s role encompassed architectural support, planning liaison, consultant coordination, and site delivery, working closely with the wider team to translate the design intent from concept through construction. This collaborative effort ensured that every detail—from material specifications to on-site execution—was aligned with the vision and delivered to a high standard
